Dodge made up for lost time in the performance pickup segment by improbably stuffing the Viper's naturally-aspirated V10 between the Ram 1500's fenders. The end result was a hot-rodded truck that boasted more horsepower than a Ferrari 360 and benefited from several chassis upgrades to keep the power in check. Around 10,046 regular- and quad-cab SRT-10s were built between the 2004 and 2006 model years, but reportedly fewer than 500 manual transmission, regular cab models were made for 2006.
Power comes from an 8.3-liter V10, rated at 500 horsepower and 525 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission.
