Harvey is a 1995 Ford E-150 Universal with a factory Glaval conversion, and a 5.0L 8-cylinder engine.
He's got great energy, original teal velour upholstery, solid oak cabinets, and.a ton of life left in him. Harvey saved me and sheltered me at a time of great need and never let me down. He was the only home I had for about a year through a lot of healing and surviving.
We've been to Baja, Seattle, Quartzite, Joshua Tree, Oceanside, Palm Desert, Petaluma, Kansas, South Dakota, Montana, Maine, Vermont, Bainbridge Island, and Sacramento. That's where I landed and where he is now. Was my daily driver for a while, but not driven much the last 18 months since I bought my truck.
However, he does need some love and I am selling him at a very reasonable price because of that.
The Good:
148,000 original miles
New tires, less than 5,000 miles on them (8/23)
New radiator (12/24)
Rebuilt transmission (12/24)
New windshield (4/23) (Huge windshield, you can see everything)
Power windows and door locks
Incredibly smooth and comfortable ride, it's like driving a recliner on wheels
Power windows
Raised 7" top (If you're 5'4" or less, you can stand up all the way!)
12V refrigerator included, and two collapsible
The Needs:
Registered in Vermont 10/24, bought in Virginia, only been in snow once.
NOT SMOGGED for CA
Needs driver's side airbag motor (I have the part that needs replacing)
The driver’s side power window doesn't go down.
Needs a new oil pan, small oil leak.
Left rear door needs a new handle and panel put back on.
I bought Harvey for $4,700, and put $$5,000 into him, but I want a good sale to a good person who really needs a break the way I did. Therefore, I'm only asking $4,000.
