OK, welcome to the Cook for Me Challenge. My goal is to find a likeable and great cook/chef who I can have come over maybe once or twice a month and make me some kind of fabulous meal. I cook myself but being a bachelor I am only mediocre at it. I'd like to also watch and learn while you spin your magic.
Now to the Challenge. I know I am going to get a lot of replies, so understood I am only going to pick 3 of you to try out. You need to tell me exactly what you are going to make. I can pay for all supplies (within reason), you can pretty much pick any store you want, either you or I can get the supplies and bring them over, then you make it up. For each of the three tryouts, I will pay $100 (plus the food costs) for your tryout. The winner gets a special $300 bonus! That's right. Gotta create some incentive. After that, I will pay whoever the winner is $50 each time to cook, again I will buy the food supplies. We could negotiate something a little more but you'd have to be pretty special for that.
My kitchen probably what you should need....but if there is something specific you want to use either ask if I have it or plan to bring any tools/appliances yourself. I also grow a few things in the backyard and you are certainly welcome to use anything in harvest.
OK, that's it. If you are interested, give me some idea about yourself and tell me what you are going to make. I will eat almost anything except I am not a big fan of tofu or quinoa. Matching alcohol is also fine but not a requirement. Cheers!
