The Center's enrichment-based programs help students across the greater Sacramento area acquire 21st Century skills. After School Team Leaders direct the classroom experience by delivering engaging lessons that align with Literacy, Health & Wellness, STEAM, and Social-Emotional Learning. We are currently looking to fill vacant positions within the Twin Rivers Unified School District.

What After School Team Leaders Do?
Gain direct, hands-on teaching experience.
Lead up to 20 K-8 students through homework support, positive enrichment and structured physical activity.
Act as mentors, advisers and role models to urban and under-served youth
Opportunities for sports and dance coaching
Build successful partnerships with parents, teachers, school districts, volunteers and the community.

Requirements of an After School Team Leader:
48 college unit OR ability to pass a basic skills test (we can assist you in obtaining one)
Interest in working with K-8 students
Availability between 12:30-6:30 PM (schedules vary per school site)
Ability to pass DOJ background check (we can assist you in the process)
Reliable source of transportation
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

The work schedules may vary, but are usually between be Monday-Friday between 12:30pm -- 6:00pm depending on site needs/demands (average 20-22 hours a week).
