An equipment manufacturer in Yuba City is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. Candidates must have experience with MasterCam - no alternative software will be considered. A related AS degree is required, a BS degree is preferred.

Job Duties:

- Program CNC mill or lathe based on standard operating procedures and assist production team on any issues
- Lead and assist the production team in all quality, performance, and process-related issues.
- Assist maintenance personnel in troubleshooting breakdowns or failures.
- Develop and maintain the machine programs and standards.
- Train production and maintenance personnel on various tasks.
- Enable production staff to maintain high levels of assembly and production
- Ensure all work is done safely and per standard OSHA guidelines.
- Ensure all assembly work sent downstream is of high quality and free of defects.
- Follow, create, and maintain procedure documents such as work instructions.
- Follow all company rules and policies as specified in the employee handbook.


- Understands mechanics of materials and how different steels, aluminums and plastics behave
- Demonstrated mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in a 3D CAD package required, Solidworks preferred.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Basic math skills (Understands Cartesian coordinates, arithmetic, fractions, and decimals)
- Has successfully passed machine shop classes at high school, college, or trade school level.
- Able to read prints and understand common geometric tolerancing and dimensioning.
- Exposure to G-code programming or a basic understanding of G-code.
