AR-15s are confusing because the model number was recycled. These are part of the "High Resolution Series" from late '90s-early 2000s. This is a 2-way sealed speaker using an 8" woofer & dome tweeter in a black vinyl-wrapped MDF cabinet. Crossover is 1700 Hz, impedance is 8 ohms and low-ish sensitivity is 85 dB. That allows deeper base from the relatively small cabinet. They like power and can handle up to 100W--even higher peaks! This is an audiophile-grade speaker despite cost and size...perfect for a music lover's bedroom, office, or dorm. comes with solid metal stands, with a unique feature the wire runs down the tube for a clean install.
