These are high-sensitivity speakers, meaning you don’t need extra powerful amplifiers – your Denon/Onky/Sony or whatever AV receiver can drive this system just fine.
Everything is overbuilt. The towers are a bass reflex design, with three eight-inch drivers and a horn tweeter. They produce amazing bass down to 29Hz and beyond. I’ve run these with no sub, and found they shake the room just fine on their own. The center channel is the biggest I’ve ever seen, with four six-inch drivers and a horn. It produces better sound than a lot of mains do! The surround speakers are also well made, each with two six-inch drivers and two horns.
I have a Klipsch KSW-15 fifteen-inch sub that did not come with this set. I will include it with a full-price offer, or we can discuss it separately.
Condition is great. There are a few scuffs, but nothing serious. The grills have all of the original cloth, all in good condition. The black finish is ash veneer on the fronts and center, black vinyl on the backs and sub. All drivers and electronics are in perfect working order.
