The Garmin has an advantage over a cell phone in the back country. That is that the Garmin does not rely on cell towers for a signal. The Garmin communicates with satellites. It also has a long battery life from a full charge.
This unit comes with the original box and all original books etc. pamphlets included just like new.
There is an Auto plug-in unit. On the back of the unit is a connection for USB charging. Sorry no USB cable.
I have furnished a see-thru dust/dirt free zipper case for carrying.
THE MOST IMPORTANT INFORMATION
This book pinpoints registered mines by holder name and location. Some of the tailings at these mine locations have proven to warrant checking for missed gold as do the area here for new prospects.
The Division of Mines & Geology Book. This book is well illustrated in 186 pages with giant fold outs of California Mines of old and current up to 1963. I doubt the information in this book has changed or even added to current date. The division, to my knowledge, has not undertaken a new or revised book of this magnitude. ENJOY!!
