On Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28, Le Colonial in San Francisco will be open from 4:00 to 8:30 PM serving a limited version of their regular a la carte menu plus specials by Chef de Cuisine Tuan Phan including Kabocha Soup (Sup Bi) with roasted kabocha squash, coconut cream and crispy shallot/$14.00; Fresh Pho Roll, rye flour wrapped, with chicken, carrots, shallots, mushroom, ginger and pho dipping sauce/$16.00; Turkey Roulade (Xoi Nhoi Ga Tay Nuong), honey butter roasted organic Mary’s Farm turkey breast stuffed with sticky rice and Asian sausage with green beans and carrots fritters, spicy plum jam and turkey jus/$30.00; Sea Scallops, pan seared sea scallops on shell with carrots, mixed bell peppers, lobster reduction and warm papaya salad/$32.00; Clay Pot Lobster for two (Tom Hum), a whole wok fried partially deshelled Maine lobster with garlic noodles and garlic butter lobster reduction/$78.00; and a Pumpkin Doughnut, a five spiced pumpkin doughnut filled with pumpkin cream/$12.00. The 721Lounge at Le Colonial will open at 3:45 PM offering a special happy hour menu. All prices exclude tax and gratuity.
