Job Summary: We’re looking for a friendly, service-oriented Wine Shop Clerk to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who loves wine, enjoys engaging with people, and takes pride in creating a welcoming atmosphere. You’ll help guests discover new wines, keep the shop running smoothly, and support our restaurant team when needed.
Schedule & Pay:
•Part-time, starting at 3 days per week, 20-30 hours
•$21 per hour + sales commission + tips
Key Responsibilities:
•Provide exceptional customer service and assist with wine selections
•Maintain organized and visually appealing displays
•Ensure accurate product pricing
•Assist with inventory management
•Support the restaurant team by answering phones, seating guests, and helping as needed
Requirements:
•21+ years of age
•Previous wine experience
•Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
•California Food Handler Card & Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification
•Reliable transportation (free parking available)
•Professional appearance and demeanor
•Strong multitasking and communication skills
•Ability to stay calm under pressure
