Position:Head Chef
Location: Sacramento, CA
Schedule: Wednesday – Sunday, 7:00 – 4PM
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate (based on experience)
About Us
We run a fast-paced, team-oriented, and community-focused bakery, known for high-quality baked goods, sandwiches and a welcoming atmosphere. We’re looking for a dedicated and experienced kitchen Manager to join our team and help lead daily operations while ensuring excellence in customer experience, product quality, and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
• Manage bakery staff, including bakers, front-of-house, and back-of-house teams
• Oversee inventory management and ordering of ingredients and supplies
• Ensure excellent quality and consistency in all baked goods
• Handle customer service and maintain a positive, welcoming atmosphere
• Schedule and manage production efficiency to optimize workflow
• Lead marketing and promotions, including menu decisions and seasonal product planning
• Ensure food safety compliance and uphold sanitation standards
• Collaborate on business growth opportunities and promotional initiatives
Qualifications:
• Baking experience preferred; restaurant experience is also acceptable
• Management experience is required
• Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for food, hospitality, and community engagement
• Must provide three references from most recent jobs
