Voltage: The "48V" part of the model number means the battery provides a nominal voltage of 48 volts, which is compatible with 48V motors and controllers.
Capacity: The "10.4Ah" specifies a capacity of 10.4 amp-hours.
Fit guide for replacement
Confirm the case style and mounting. Visually compare your existing battery with pictures of a Hailong 1 style battery to confirm it is the same case. These batteries use a keyed lock to slide the battery onto a separate mounting base.
Measure your frame clearance. The most important step is to physically measure the space on your bike's down-tube where the battery mounts. Compare this with the Hailong 1 dimensions (368 x 90 x 90 mm) to ensure there is enough clearance. You will also need space to slide the battery on and off the mount.
Check your current hardware. If your current battery also uses a Hailong 1 case, you may be able to use the existing mounting bracket and simply slide the new battery on. Some vendors on Amazon even specifically suggest this.
Buy a compatible bracket. If you are doing a new installation or replacing a non-Hailong battery, you will need to purchase a Hailong 1 mounting bracket that screws into the water bottle bosses on your frame.
Verify the connector. Most Hailong batteries use a 4-pin discharge port, but it's important to confirm this is compatible with your bike's motor controller before ordering.
Consider battery management system (BMS) and motor compatibility. The Hailong case for 48V/10.4Ah typically includes a 20A BMS, which is suitable for motors up to 750W. For higher-powered motors (up to 1200W), a battery with a stronger 40A BMS may be required. The key is that the new battery's voltage must match your bike's existing motor and controller.
