You can tell they are rooted as they are gradually firming up in the pots, throwing out new growth, and making pups but I still recommend careful transport for now. Best if someone can keep an eye on it while on the drive home. I recommend keeping them in the pot for 1 more year and planting in the ground next spring if you are planning to transplant. Also try to refrain from taking cuttings for at least 1 year. Water lightly the next 6-8 weeks as light watering incourages better rooting. So not more than a couple cups of water for the next couple months every other week.
