I have 20 purple smoke bush (or train into small patio tree) in 1 gallon pots, ranging in size from 16 inches tall to over 3 feet tall.
Look up online under Cotinus coggygria .
Best purple color in sun and ample moisture until fully established. Nice color, especially if garden has “Green Syndrome “. Can stake to single or 3 stems to make amazing small tree also.
