The leaf of the Trident Maple has 3 lobes - thus “Trident Maple”. Similar to the Japanese maple, but so much easier to grow in all respects. Full sun - no problem! Some drought after establishing- no problem! This tree grows where the Japanese maple fails, and the fall colors are amazing. They also make a wonderful bonsai, as a single or grove planting. Trees are super healthy and 5-6 feet tall in 1 gallon pots, as seen in photos. I have plenty to choose from! Buy 10 for 100$ - that’s half price! I have also topped ones for the bonsai people - topped at about a foot and branching nicely .
