Opportunity to join our Driver Care Team to safely drive elderly passengers in a mini-van sized vehicle to and from appointments, activities, etc. on-time, while paying attention to riders’ health, and maintaining a clean vehicle. Regular, California class C license in good standing required.
Job Duties & Requirements:
- Arrive each day well rested, clean, on time, and with a positive professional attitude.
- Safely drive passengers to destinations while obeying traffic laws and safety procedures.
- Reliable and trustworthy.
- Be courteous, helpful, observant, and kind to all passengers and facility staff you encounter.
- Great time management and able to read a map/smartphone directions.
- Own smartphone, and able to use work app.
- Communicate effectively with passengers, clients, manager, etc. as needed.
- Strong enough to push a 150lb+ person in a wheelchair up ramps, able to lift 50 lbs.
- Agile enough to bend down and maneuver around seats.
- Dress appropriately and be well groomed and hygienic.
- When necessary, wear mask and gloves and use sanitizer in accordance with guidelines.
- Pass background check, drug test(s), physical, trainings, and drivers license in good standing.
- Truly care about others' well-being.
Hours:
- Part time to Full time / Split Shift. Monday – Friday. Occasional Saturdays (optional)
- Window of trips 6am – 6pm with personal gaps in between.
*pay: start at $20/hr/+ bonuses
*Signing bonus ($300 after milestones hit)
*Will train!
