BSR (Birmingham Stove & Range) Century series cast iron cookware is identifiable by its markings and production methods. Century series pans, produced from the 1950s to the 1990s, often feature a size number followed by "NO." and the pan's diameter in inches (e.g., "NO. 8 10 1/8 IN"). They also have a distinctive V-shaped ridge on the underside of the handle. Unlike the earlier Red Mountain series, Century series pans were often made with automated equipment, resulting in a smoother interior and sometimes a slightly rougher exterior.
Approximate measurements:
10 3/4" handle tip to outer edge
6 3/4" pour spout to pour spout
1 1/2" deep
Markings:
"NO. 3
6 5/8 IN."
Better than new cuz you don't have to worry about factory seasoning failure - this skillet has been stripped down to bare iron and had 4 layers of seasoning baked on. It's ready and waiting to impress even the most discriminating palate. NO CRACKS, WARPS, OR WOBBLES
