This is the Bolero shape and popular Peach Blossom pattern from W.S. George China. It features a sweet pink floral pattern on a super mid century creamy white with a gold rim line. Pink peach blossoms are pictured on a floral with black branches and green leaves. Dinner plates were made with two decals on the face. On some plates, the decals match in orientation (up-up), on other plates they are oriented with one up and one down (up-down). The Bolero shape has a distinctive ribbed embossed edge. The up/down pattern are harder to find.

The delicate peach blossom pattern would be lovely for so many occasions.

Elegant and distinct vintage set of china. Zoom in to appreciate details.

From the internet:

"The pattern Peach Blossom consists of two branches of pink flowers on a white background. These plates have gold trim. These are really beautiful plates and would make great display pieces as well as useable serving dishes. They would be a great way to own a piece of the past. Make a grand statement on any dining table, sideboard, or buffet table with this beautiful bowl that is perfect for entertaining.

In 1904, William Shaw George purchased a pottery company in East Palestine, Ohio. The W. S. George Pottery Company manufactured semi-porcelain dinnerware as well as toilet and hotel wares. In 1910, the company opened a plant in Canonsburg, and another in Kittanning, Pennsylvania in 1914. The W. S. George Pottery Company remained in operation for nearly 60 years."
