Currently hiring for full-time Human Resources coordinator for a large healthcare company in the Sacramento Area. Pay is based on experience.
Job responsibilities: * Help with time sensitive projects and trainings * Enter data into the computer by word-processing or ten-key calculations * Research and compile special reports * Type memos and set up spreadsheets * Set up and maintenance of personnel and general business related filing systems * Volunteer onboarding, tracking, and orientation * Garnishments * Verification of Employment * W-4 and DE4 changes in HRIS system * Create, maintain and post Volunteer job opportunities * Employee direct deposit change and cancellation * Employee cell phone stipend * EDD audits * Employee jury duty tracking * Assist other HR team members * Other HR projects as needed
AA degree or two (2)+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and write English. Interpret documents such as procedure manuals, State and Federal employment laws and guidelines. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
