A Silicon Valley benefits administration firm is hiring HR Administrators for its Roseville office. The company helps employers manage leaves of absence and short-term disability requests. The Administrators work directly with the employees, guiding them through their rights, ensuring that they are paid correctly and take all eligible time off. Thanks to the services this company provides parents can take more time off for maternity/paternity leave, family members can care longer for sick relatives and employees can take more time off to recover from an illness.
Job duties involve:
• Administering leaves of absence for multiple clients according to Federal and State laws
• Documenting all communications
• Advising on leave entitlement, client policies and benefits, payroll and return-to-work accommodations
The company is well-established with an excellent reputation in the Leave of Absence management world. They are in high growth and these positions are open due to a need to increase headcount. They have a very collaborative workplace, provide ongoing training and room for advancement.
The ideal candidate is someone who has a love of learning. This is a complicated niche in HR and ongoing training is needed to keep up with compliance changes. Excellent communication skills, empathy, professionalism and a genuine need to assist people is called for. A four-year college degree or a professional certification in a related field preferred, or any equivalent combination of education and related experience is required. Upon hire you will be back in the classroom then assigned to a trainer and mentor.
The company offers a salary range of $45,000 to $55,000, with full benefits, 401K matching, flexible schedule, generous time off and further education sponsorship. There are no sales requirements.
I am pre-screening resumes, then qualified candidates will be presented to the company for a phone and panel interview. We are looking to hire five Administrators in mid April.
Please send me a copy of your resume and a brief cover letter explaining why you are right for this role.
