We are currently looking for an experienced HR Operations Specialist to join our growing Human Resources team at our headquarters in Roseville, CA. The HR Operations Specialist will provide backup to our HR Operations Lead and play an instrumental role in the On-boarding process for our contract employees, so experience in On-boarding is a must have, as well as familiarity, at minimum, with WOTC.
Job Title: HR Operations Specialist
The HR Operations Specialist will be responsible for supporting ongoing HR operations and provides day-to-day administrative, reporting and project support to employees, managers and HR team with a concentration on data integrity, supporting standard HR processes and providing timely and accurate resolution and reporting.
Reviews and audits all onboarding documents for 50 employees on a weekly basis.
Verifies I-9 documentation and compliance through EVerify.
Assists in training and mentoring HR Coordinators on all onboarding tasks.
Completes TN Visa Letters for Canadian nurses.
Assists HR Operations Lead in tracking and approving time off requests.
Submits Equifax WOTC Report bi-weekly.
Audits and updates Standard Operating Procedures quarterly.
Manages and participates in special Human Resources projects.
Contributes independently on a variety of processes with some assistance.
Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
Exercises judgement within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
Develops professional expertise and applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
Conducts quarterly audits on sick time, employee titles and departments, and external location setup in the payroll system.
Ensure compliance with rules and regulations.
Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from Salesforce as needed.
2-3 years of human resources experience required.
Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
Possess strong written and oral English communication skills.
Possess strong organization skills and be very detail oriented.
Ability to prioritize competing and inflexible deadlines.
Ability to work collaboratively with the Operations, Sales and Recruitment Teams, as well as work independently.
Be, at minimum, proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with Salesforce and VBAS a plus.
