Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Key knowledge of HRIS systems (UltiPro and Cornerstone).
  • Complies with and stays current on all new policies and procedures for the HRIS systems and any federal and state laws applicable to the company.
  • Designs and analyzes system generated reports. Works with others in order to provide information as needed.
    • Monitoring and reviewing queues for ad hoc requests with self-assignment of request.
    • Gathering and documenting data requirements for ad hoc queries.
    • Determining appropriate reporting tool for the request.
    • Effectively answering the requester(s) follow-up questions regarding the delivered data request.
  • Responsible for implementing, maintaining and managing self-service administration functionality.
    • Makes sure that security protocols regarding information systems are in place and followed. Responsible for maintenance of system databases, security role setup and workflows.
  • Works closely with IT to resolve any systems and processes related issues. Investigates and resolves system related issues providing first level support, communicate effectively with users to troubleshoot and address technical and process issues.
  • Facilitate change initiatives tied to HRIS systems to drive organizational effectiveness, talent development, and growth for operations across the sites. Assist in the rollout of relevant new policies, procedures or programs as needed.
  • Communicates opportunities for dashboard development by observation of recurring ad hoc themes.
    • Daily access testing and documentation of working functionality for the following applications and dashboards:
  • Assist HR Assistant Manager and HR Manager as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from a college or technical school; or two year to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, safety manuals and Employee Handbook. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before managers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry, and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills

Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Advance Knowledge and skills with software applications such as UltiPro and Cornerstone and other HRIS system knowledge a plus.

Other Skills and Abilities

Ability to multi-task while meeting various deadlines and producing high quality work.
