Responsibilities:
- Provide caretaking services for the facility, ensuring its cleanliness and functionality
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing equipment and fixtures
- Conduct inspections to identify any issues or repairs needed
- Supervise and coordinate 1 part time maintenance staff and contractors
- Respond to tenant and manager's requests and address any concerns promptly
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and expenses
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
-Perform light landscaping duties
-Assist in food pickup and delivery
-Perform turns on apartments at move out
Skills:
- Strong Independent working skills
-A go with the flow attitude/flexibility
- Proficiency in mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs or knowledge on where to find answers
-Basic plumbing repairs
-Basic electrical repairs
-Basic painting skills
-A strong desire to learn skills
-Good time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English for effective communication with tenants, contractors, and colleagues. English/Spanish speaking is a plus!
- Ability to supervise and coordinate maintenance activities efficiently
- Strong customer service skills to address tenant and manager's needs and concerns
-Patience to work closely with adults with disabilities
