About the role:
We’re seeking a tech-savvy, resourceful Project Manager to oversee and improve the landscaping operation at a private residence. Ideal for an experienced professional seeking a flexible, part-time engagement. You’ll coordinate work with an existing full-time team member and suppliers, build processes, and keep the property performing at a high standard.
What you’ll do:
- Build and maintain the landscaping playbook: process, calendar, documentation, and reporting (spreadsheets/Excel).
- Oversee irrigation systems (multiple technologies): change schedules, fine-tune by zone, and adjust seasonally.
- Troubleshoot irrigation and basic plumbing issues, coordinate repairs with vendors.
- Research best practices/materials; source and manage contractors/vendors.
- Monitor plant, lawn, and tree health; escalate to specialists when needed.
- Track progress and communicate concise updates to owners.
What you bring:
- Demonstrated project management in residential landscaping or related field.
- Strong irrigation knowledge (controllers, drip/spray, valves) and basic plumbing competence.
- Proficiency with MS Office/Excel and project management software; comfortable with tech.
- Organized, proactive problem-solver; excellent follow-through and documentation.
- Plant and tree knowledge.
