About You and The Role
The Order Fulfillment Associate is responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for delivery via (autonomous aircraft). This role plays a critical part in ensuring safe, timely, and precise delivery of products. Associates will work closely with the operations team to maintain high quality standards, follow strict safety protocols, and support the Company’s mission of providing reliable, on-demand deliveries.
This is an onsite role based in Esparto, CA.
What You'll Do:
Order Picking and Packing
Accurately pick items from inventory based on order specifications.
Verify product type, quantity, and quality before packing.
Pack items securely to ensure product integrity during flight.
Label and document orders to ensure proper delivery.
Loading and Preparation for Delivery
Safely load prepared orders into payload compartments following safety and quality guidelines.
Verify correct order placement and secure loading prior to launch.
Communicate with fulfillment Associates and fulfillment leads regarding any problems or troubleshooting issues.
Quality Assurance and Compliance
Follow established checklists and protocols to ensure order accuracy.
Adhere to safety procedures related to handling, packing, and loading.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
Immediately report errors, damaged goods, or safety concerns to a lead.
Team Collaboration and Support
Work collaboratively with fulfillment and operations teams.
Assist with equipment maintenance reporting.
Participate in training and ongoing process improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with others on shift to ensure all orders and tasks are completed within SLA.
What You'll Bring:
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions consistently.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Physical ability to lift up to 20 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
Must be eligible to work in the US
Must have a valid drivers license and reliable source of transportation
Preferred:
Experience in warehouse, logistics, sales associate or order fulfillment roles.
Familiarity with technology-based workflows (handheld scanners, tablets, etc.).
Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
A strong work ethic and commitment to doing things the right way every time.
