We are seeking a highly capable, hands-on Groundskeeper / Landscaper to maintain and help develop all aspects of our 7-acre trucking facility and residential property.
This role goes beyond basic maintenance — you will be responsible for full-scope property upkeep, landscaping, irrigation systems, fencing, and ongoing development projects.
Think: golf course–level standards with construction capability.
Position Type
• Part-Time: 3–4 days/week
or
• Full-Time: 5 days/week
Year-round work
Compensation
• $19.00 – $23.00/hour (DOE)
• Based on experience, skill level, and productivity

Core Responsibilities
Groundskeeping & Maintenance
• Maintain property
• Mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, and general upkeep
• Weed control, pest control, and vegetation management
• Drain maintenance and water flow management
• Maintain a clean, organized, professional yard appearance at all times
• Keep surfaces, concrete, and work areas clean and washed
• Maintain, repair, and install fountains
• Fence work: set posts, run lines, and complete installs
Landscape Installation & Development
• Develop large areas into sod, trees, shrubs, and planting zones
• Layout and execute landscape improvements
• Install and maintain flower beds and structured landscape areas
• Support ongoing property build-out and improvement projects
Irrigation Systems
• Diagnose and repair:
• Sprinklers
• Valves
• Timers / controllers
• Leaks and pressure issues
• Install new irrigation systems:
• Pipe, zones, valves, and heads
• Adjust and maintain system efficiency across large areas
Construction & Property Projects
• Fence installation and repair (wood, vinyl, or pipe)
• Light grading, trenching, and site prep
• Assist with concrete, curb, and drainage improvements
• General property infrastructure work
Equipment Operation (REQUIRED)
Must be experienced operating:
• Tractors
• Backhoe / loader
• Gas-powered landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers)
• Basic construction tools and equipment
Additional Skills (Preferred)
• Welding (big plus)
• Equipment maintenance and minor repairs
• Basic plumbing or electrical (irrigation-related)
Requirements
• Proven experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or property maintenance
• Strong irrigation knowledge (must be able to repair and install systems)
• Ability to work independently and complete projects start-to-finish
• Reliable, consistent, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working in an active trucking yard environment
• Valid driver’s license preferred
