Primary Responsibilities:
Artificial Turf Installation (70% of role):
- Install artificial turf systems including base preparation, drainage, seaming, and finishing
- Follow company SOPs and quality standards for all installations
- Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with site prep including excavation, grading, and compaction
- Execute proper seaming techniques
- Install infill materials and complete final grooming
Masonry & Concrete Work (30% of role):
- Pour and finish concrete edging, borders, and walkways
- Install pavers, decomposed granite, and other hardscape materials
- Perform masonry work for retaining walls and borders
- Ensure proper drainage and grading integration with turf systems
General Duties:
- Load and unload materials and equipment
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Communicate professionally with customers
- Follow safety protocols
- Participate in monthly post-mortem meetings
Requirements:
Must Have:
- Proven experience with concrete work and masonry (this is what sets you apart)
- Strong work ethic and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to learn artificial turf installation as your primary skill
Preferred:
- Prior landscaping or construction experience
- Familiarity with power tools and equipment
- Basic understanding of grading and drainage
- Strong attention to detail
