Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair fire alarm, security, card access and CCTV systems in residential and commercial buildings
- Conduct system inspections and testing to ensure proper functionality
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with alarm systems
- Collaborate with clients to determine their security needs and recommend appropriate solutions
- Provide training to clients on how to operate and maintain their alarm systems
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
Experience:
- At least two years of experience in fire alarm, security and card access installation, maintenance or other related fields
- Knowledge and proficiency of Silent Knight, Potter, Firelite, Bosch/Radionics and Ademco Vista systems.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools.
- Ability to handle physical workload, ladder and lift work.
- Strong attention to detail, troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational or electronics graduate a plus.
- Well groomed professional appearance.
- Self-starter with strong organizational, communication, written and people skills.
- Available after hours on-call.
- Valid CA drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Pass a background check.
