I am a 37yo naturalist and gardener, planning to converting about .7 acres of a private residence, to a native habitat garden. I’m solo at the moment and I could use some regular help with someone I can build trust with.
The ideal candidate would be a hard worker, have at least some experience with the wonderful plants of California or of the the ecosystems from which they flourish. With this said, I would consider a gardener who has the willingness to learn, works hard, and feels compassionate about honoring our beautiful Mother Earth, as I do.
Hours can be flexible, and negotiated. I would ask for at least 8 hours a week. You could do more if you’d like.
I work very hard and I work safely. I will expect the same from my help. Please expect to be working in the Sun, lifting, shoveling, etc. I will always provide water, and adequate breaks. I intentionally open this position to all people, regardless of age (over 18), gender, or orientation. All will be treated with respect at my home :)
If interested, please let me know briefly what skills or experience you have, what availability you might have, and how many hours you would need.
