Law firm with two locations invites current law students and recent graduates to apply for a legal internship with its downtown Sacramento location. The ideal candidate will have strong legal research and writing skills. The goal of the internship will be to provide the candidate with experience in an area of law they are interested in pursuing after graduation. The litigation arm of the firm handles business, employment and environmental disputes. The transactional side of the practice handles real property transactions, estate planning, business formation and tax preparation. Applicants should indicate the type of work they are most interested in, and highlight the area of practice they are most interested in pursuing after graduation, as well as any background or related experience that may make them an ideal fit for the position. Applicants should provide their anticipated available hours, both now and during the summer break - assuming those hours are subject to change. The schedule will be flexible to class schedule and other commitments. A willingness and ability to work at both of the firm's office locations on occassion would be helpful (approximately 1 hour commute). Pay for this internship will be commensurate with other internship opportunities in the Sacramento area.
