Have you been charged with a crime? Has a loved one been arrested?
I am Attorney Michael Ross, and I represent clients in criminal cases.
Over the past twenty-five years, I have handled over 5,000 criminal cases for over twenty-five years as a former Special Prosecutor, former Deputy Attorney General, former Judge Pro Tempore of the Superior Court, and now as criminal defense counsel.
That is the kind of experience you want on your side.
When your retain me, you will get four things you seldom get with any other attorney:
1.) MY PERSONAL REPRESENTATION. You will have me personally as your attorney, not a new associate or a contract lawyer. Large law firms often assign their cases to new lawyers "learning the ropes," or they "refer" their cases (for a finder's fee) to other lawyers who may not have the experience your case requires. That will not happen at my law office. I will personally handle all aspects of your case myself.
2.) LEGAL EXPERIENCE. I will bring my over twenty-five years of experience in criminal law to bear on your case, and I will use the greatest advocacy in order to get you the best possible disposition. There is simply no substitute for this kind of experience.
3.) ACCESSIBILITY. You can reach me during the business day, in the evenings, and even on the weekends. I provide my clients with my private cell phone so that you can reach me when you have a question. You will not have to navigate through a minefield of secretaries and junior associates to reach me.
4.) YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PERSONALLY APPEAR IN COURT (MOST CASES). I can appear in court in your absence for you in most misdemeanor cases. This will relieve you of the embarrassment and trauma of appearing in court. However, felony cases will require your personal appearance in court, at least at the first court date.
YOUR INTERVIEW REGARDING YOUR CASE:
The interview process includes one confidential consultation at my office, free of charge, or if necessary, by telephone.
I will give you my evaluation of your case, tell you what I believe should be done with your case, and give a quote for my retainer.
The amount of my retainer is based on the seriousness of the alleged offense, your possible exposure to jail that you may be facing, and your financial ability.
I use a sliding scale when quoting my retainer to arrive at a fair price for you. I use a fixed, flat fee for my retainer so that no conflicts of interest will arise, and you will not have to worry about additional billings. I accept personal checks, PayPal, or cash.
And many, many other types of both State and Federal cases
My goal is to get the best possible outcome for your case. All of your personal and case information will be held in the strictest of confidence, regardless of whether or not you retain me as your attorney.
Evening and weekend appointments are available by special arrangement. To obtain a free consultation, call me at: Telephone: (916) 482-6800
