Willing to deliver within 30 miles of Davis for an additional $100.
This scooter is a lot of fun - the front two wheels tilt in tandem when you turn. You get incredible grip while taking turns and very short breaking distance due to two patches road contact up front. Great for wet conditions or if you hit some gravel/grit while taking a turn. I took this for a few rides out past Beryessa and it was a blast. It has a good deal of storage space too and is comfy.
It must be noted that this scooter hasn't been run in since 'Fall '23. I had double wrist surgery two years ago, and around the same time a valve stem come off of one of the front wheels. I did syphon out the gas tank at the time I stopped using it. The last time I rode it it ran really well - strong motor, strong breaks, CVT transmission running smoothly, all dash indicators and signals working perfectly.
To get it up and running safely again it will need:
Oil/transmission fluid Change
fuel system check
Break fluid flush
New front tire (one has a broken stem valve). I had both tires replaced together and they have maybe 20 miles on them so you could potentially just replace the one with the broken stem valve and the wear would match close enough between them. That said, you may want a fresh new pair - just get a different brand as the stem valve broke shortly after purchase!
It's a 2007 so it has a few issues of note:
The electro-hydraulic system that locks the front wheels in a vertical position when coming to a stop/stopped does not lock consistently. I had this repaired by Davis Motorsports but it still was only activating about half the time. In honesty, it's a rather inconsequential and over-engineered feature - the difference being whether or not you have to put a foot down on the ground when stopped at a light. Kinda gimmicky IMO.
The scooter has two storage areas that are connected. One compartment is accessed by lifting up the seat. The other was accessible through the back hatch. The lock for the back hatch is stuck in the locked position. The hatch had to be cut through to access the hatch when my phone/keys/wallet were locked in there - it is now patched with silver duct tape. You can still access the back storage area through the seat storage area via pass-through.
The battery was new at the time of the new front tires and has been on a trickle charger since the bike was taken off road.
The scooter comes with one key and no manual (manual avail. online).
This scooter has been kept covered since I bought it in 2018. The seat material is in decent shape - no cracks or tears.
The front faring is a little loose in a few spots as I recall but it never caused an issue while riding and thus I never bothered to address it - a few small zipties would likely sort that out.
