Parting with my '09 DR650. This was a bit of a project bike to use for a BDR and therefore has a lot of extra attention paid in the build and with parts installed.
Purchased the bike with 5579 miles from the original owner and as part of my build I installed a Trail Tech digital dash that now shows 3455 miles. Total mileage 9034.
The bike has always been garage stored, kept on battery tender, and religiously maintained during my ownership. The bike comes with an extra TKC80 front tire along with most of the original take-off parts; tank, seat, muffler, bars/mounts, speedo, rear fender/light, owners manual, etc.
Here are the upgrades invested in the build:
-Parabellum windscreen
-Acerbis 5.3 gal. fuel tank
-Seat Concepts comfort seat
-Trail Tech Striker digital speedo gauge
-Acerbis frame guards
-KTM hand guards
-DRZ250 low profile tailight
-Tail tidy with high visibility extra brake light
-LED turn signals with compatible flasher
-Happy Trails skid plate
-Renthal Fatty bars with ODI oversize bar mounts
-JNS Engineering low foot peg mounts
-Switchable 2 USB outlet with volt meter
-Battery tender plug
-Race Tech .60kg front fork spring (.40 stock), and .81kg rear shock spring (.65 stock) installed
-Rear shock rebuilt with Race Tech Gold Valve, new oil, and nitrogen refill
-Doubletake Enduro mirrors
-LeoVince slip on exhaust
-JD jet kit installed along with updated airbox ports
-CNC clutch lever and easy-pull clutch arm extension
-Rear luggage rack and Dirt Racks pannier rack
-Oversized tool storage tube
-Countershaft sprocket seal retainer bracket
Recent maintenance includes: new front/rear brake pads, steel braided front brake hose, foam air filter, oil change with Amsoil full synthetic oil, and spark plug replacement with NGK Iridium plugs. Valve clearance checked per maintenance schedule and brake fluid changed. Neutral sending unit bolts loctited and safety wired. I can overview the other typical DR650 mods that were completed with interested buyers.
All told, I have thousands more invested than the $5400 asking price.
Clean title in hand, along with a couple of boxes of parts.
If the ad is posted, the bike is available for sale so I will not respond to "is the bike available" inquiries. Not interested in trades.
