Job Summary

iCrash Collision seeks an experienced journeyman Auto Body Technician to join our specialized team. In this role, you will perform high-quality collision repairs on a wide range of vehicles, including large and high-end models, ensuring every repair aligns with OEM guidelines and company standards.

Your expertise in bodywork, frame repair, and refinishing will help us deliver the precision and excellence our customers expect. The ideal candidate has a passion for craftsmanship, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering safe, flawless results.

Core Responsibilities

  • Perform complete disassembly and damage assessment to support accurate repair planning.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers and Parts Associates to ensure timely access to parts.
  • Execute repairs following OEM standards, iCrash procedures, and QC SOPs.
  • Identify all necessary repairs upfront to minimize supplements and cycle time.
  • Safely remove and reinstall vehicle parts and components.
  • Properly store parts to prevent damage or loss.
  • Repair or replace defective parts using industry-approved methods.
  • File, grind, sand, and finish repaired surfaces with precision.
  • Test drive and inspect completed repairs to confirm safety and quality standards.
  • Comply with company Core Values, safety standards, and all regulations.
  • Support shop cleanliness, teamwork, and apprentice training when needed.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of journeyman-level experience in a collision repair environment.
  • Proficiency with welders, frame machines, and hand/power tools.
  • Strong knowledge of repair techniques, structural alignment, and refinishing methods.
  • I-CAR certification preferred (company-sponsored training provided).
  • Ability to read and follow repair plans, estimates, and OEM specs.
  • Commitment to detail, accuracy, and high-quality results.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean record.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various positions for extended periods.
