Multiple openings at a food manufacturing company in downtown Sacramento. Openings include 2 Electricians, one Electronic Technician and a Maintenance Mechanic!

Performs PMs and predictive maintenance on processing lines, packaging lines, the Towveyor system and building facilities. Retrieve and close out PMs and work orders from CMMS system. Makes recommendations for PM adjustments and/or PM additions to equipment.Responds to emergency calls and makes immediate repairs whenever possible. Perform scheduled overhauls and preventive maintenance on equipment.Fabrication of equipment, plumbing, pipe fitting and welding as per job requirement. operation of gasoline and electrical-powered machinery in a variety of environments. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned. Duties are carried out according to standardized procedures. Works under general supervision and receives instructions from Dept. Manager. Will need to use general hand tools to perform mechanical adjustments.

This position requires someone to have a background in Electronic Theory. The Elec Techs will be responsible for troubleshooting the electronics on equipment which includes PID Loops, calibration of equipment(power meters, frequency counters, pulse generators, scales). They will be responsible for installing components, unites and circuit boards. Will maintain pneumatic and electronic process control instruments. This position is working with the electronics on all the processing equipment, the job of the elec tech is to calibrate, test, troubleshoot and maintain the electronics on all plant equipment with minimal down time. Highest voltage issues they will be dealing with is 50 volts.
Looking for either a degree or certification or courses dealing with electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics. At least 3 years of experience working with electronics on large manufacturing equipment. Basic troubleshooting of PLCs and VFDs. Install PLCs.

The biggest thing with industrial electrician is that they must have industrial experience; residential or commercial will not work for this position. Need to have experience working with 480 volts, 3 phase motors, motor controls. Experience with PLCs is a must, allen bradley. If they know how to program PLCs that is a plus but if they can hook up a laptop and understand what is wrong with the equipment and electrical that is a good start. Need to understand the concept of general power distribution.
