Position Summary
Kniesel's Collision is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Auto Body Detailer to perform thorough cleaning and detailing of customer vehicles following repair services, ensuring a pristine presentation that reflects our commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Vehicle Detailing: Perform comprehensive interior and exterior detailing after collision repairs—washing, waxing, polishing, vacuuming, and removing dust and debris.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect vehicles to identify remaining dirt, damage, or imperfections to meet Kniesel's high standards before delivery.
- Cosmetic Touch-Ups: Perform minor enhancements such as paint touch-ups, headlight polishing, and minor blemish correction.
- Customer Satisfaction: Collaborate with team members to return vehicles in pristine condition and support an exceptional customer experience.
- Work Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe detailing area; ensure tools/equipment are in proper working condition.
- Technical Assistance: Support repair technicians with masking, taping, and sanding during vehicle prep work.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and replenish detailing supplies and tools.
- Other Duties as Assigned: Support the Production Manager or General Manager as needed.
Skills and Requirements
- Prior experience in automotive detailing or a related field is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to excellence.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of automotive cleaning products and procedures.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to stand, kneel, bend for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
