a complete 78 Kawasaki KZ 1000 LTD- B2 (pending restoration)
KZ has been sitting outside for a while.
no water was in the oil cylinders honed out ok
but could use a step over bore, pistons and rings
pretty much the only thing missing are the 2 rear turn signals
but most assuredly will be needing some newer parts
not a project I care to undertake at this time
so maybe some else may enjoy the challenge.
Have a signed title from previous owner
but more than likely out of dmv records by now.
Actually have the original keys that fit tank, ignition, and seat lock.
Has original gas tank that actually looks pretty dern good inside.
Has a new Dunlop tire and tube on front.
Even have the dealer prep list from 1978 when the kz was assembled at the dealer
As with everything - - there is a story behind this 78 KZ1000 LTD B2
be a worthwhile project for a Kawasaki enthusiast.
be nice if there was a price war over this KZ and sold for well over $1000 +
for now, but would settle for around, at least $800.
would consider a reasonable offer.
