FOR SALE is a Martin D-35, a 6-string dreadnought guitar from 1998, nicely aged at 27 years carrying that distinctive, superb, top notch tone and sustain, very typical of the Martin legacy of fine instruments.
This Martin features its signature 35 styling, with 3-piece east Indian rosewood back and sides (contrasting center piece wedge) with a Sitka spruce top, ebony fingerboard (boltaron bound) and ebony bridge, saddle, solid headstock, dovetail neck joint, adjustable truss rod, and comes with its original 640 black thermoplastic hardshell case. The nut width is 1-11/16", the string spacing at the saddle is 2-1/8", with 15/32" string height in front of the middle of the bridge, 14 frets configuration with very little fret wear, a low and very comfortable 7/64” and 5/64” action at the 12th (no neck reset needed), very good overall condition throughout. And, it's a powerhouse!
The Martin D-35 has 1/4" top bracing which allows the top to vibrate more freely thus rendering a nice deep bass output along with fine ringing trebles . . . beautiful overall tone! A must have for any Martin enthusiast.
