condition: new
make / manufacturer: Ludwig
model name / number: Salesman Snare
size / dimensions: 6.5 x 14
Harkening back to the vintage time of drum building and selling, Ludwig outfitted their Salesmen with swatches of the various sparkle finishes. At some point, a snare drum was made and it traveled with them from music store to music store to not only show the beautiful finishes Ludwig offered, but to make 'em drool so they wanted to place an order!

Reimagined by famous Black Keys drummer, Patrick Carney, an entire run of limited edition kits and snares were built. So popular they were, a few more snares eeked out of the factory of this very rare and beloved finish.

What I am offering for your viewing and buying pleasure is a brand new, only opened the box for photos and never played, one of these beautiful snare drums!

It looks amazing in these photos, but even more stunning in person.

Think of this as your high school crush walking down the stairs for prom and you're speechless.

Yes, that's just about the feeling you'll get seeing this. Minus the powder blue ruffle shirt tux of course!

This snare is wicked cool. And perfect for the drummer who wants a 'little' color on the stage. Or perhaps add to their collection.

You can check Reverb and you'll see one for $1,499. Ouch!

p.s. I have a brand new Humes & Berg hard lined hard case is also available for an addition $100 if you purchase the snare. It's brand new, never used. And at a $100 price, of course it's firm.
