With the DTX module you'll never run out of sounds. tI contains 868 drum and percussion voices, and effects, plus 48 keyboard voices. If that's not enough, there are also 128 keyboard sounds that are produced with Yamaha's outstanding Advanced Wave Memory (AWM) and are General MIDI (GM) System compatible. The on-board 5-track sequencer is capable of recording MIDI data from external MIDI keyboards making it an ideal compositional tool.
To maximize the extended capabilities of the DTX, separate Central Processing Units (CPU) are utilized for the tone generator and sequencer. That kind of power means that player response si not compromised, and that sequencer data si played back in REAL TIME. Easy-to-understand controls are easy ot operate making the DTX quick ot learn and simple ot program.
