'66 Tele Relic Clone with all the best parts. The asking price is less than the cost of the parts. If you were thinking of building a Tele, save yourself some grief and buy this one. Realistic Relics 4 lbs 7 oz. Alder double bound body with relic nitro paint job. ($400) Fender bridge plate, knobs and neck plate. ($100) Intonated brass saddles. Excellent pots and switch. (over $100) Seymour Duncan 60's Antiquity bridge pickup and La Brea neck pickup. (over $200) Relic tuners ($65) After I built this I took it to Sonoma Guitar Works for final setup. Plays great. Straight neck, NO fret wear. The logo was sold to me as an new/old stock Fender decal. I don't know if that is true, but I can say it looks very authentic and cost me $60. Contact me for close ups of the head stock with sticker.
Musikraft custom neck, (over $500) the highest quality quarter sawn neck AND maple cap. Maple Cap necks are famous for excellent tone. More details below, but neck is .88 to .95 from the first to 12th fret. It is a nice size if regular necks are a little small for you. I built this to keep it. I LOVE it, but I built four and my wife says I don't need four, plus, I can't close the closet and that really makes my home situation difficult. No case.
