This is a Bach Stradivarius SN 127664 Bb trumpet in lacquer. Late 1970s vintage. This is the version with the 43 bell giving you a much warmer, centered tone with great projection compared to the standard 37 Strads. This being lacquer rather than silver, it’s even a bit warmer than most! It is in excellent condition: lacquer about 90% intact with just a little wear where the left fingers contact the third valve and on lead pipe. It is a great-looking instrument as you can see from the photos. Recently serviced, cleaned and lubricated. Valves are fast and smooth with no problems and excellent compression. All tuning slides are free including the third-valve dump slide which is stuck on most used Strads. Comes in bach hard case which is also in very good condition. With 7C mouthpiece. A great horn for marching band, symphonic band, and anywhere else you want a full, dark tone that reaches the back of the room!
