Seasoned guitarist/vocalist/songwriter new to Sacramento area looking for a local drummer to start a new indie/alternative/shoegaze project. Would like to encompass the entire spectrum of shoegaze/noisepop/alternative rock... from lofi ish mellow ambiance to super heavy wall of fuzz.
I have many years experience playing live/touring/recording. I've released music on small labels (US and internationally) have been featured on college as well as mainstream radio.
Looking for a fellow chill person with tight drum skills to help flesh out (to start) at minimum 30 mins of original material, record a few tracks and start playing some live local shows.... See where it goes from there.
Ideally a relaxed and chill person with plenty of live/recording experience under their belts (please no beginners, sorry!) and is quite familiar with the sound. Probably best if you're at least in your 30s (I'm 45).
Here are a couple of music videos of some songs I wrote/recorded. I edited/co-produced the videos as well.

I also have a few incomplete pieces I'm working on that I can send just to give you an idea of where my heads at. Could be a place to start but we can just start from square one as well.
Once material is a bit more established I know someone to join in on bass/2nd vocals as well.
If this sounds like something you'd be into please reach out with a little about yourself/experience and ANY sort of example of you playing drums. Could be a video of your old band playing live or even just a phone video of you jamming in a garage. We can meet up at an hourly studio, chat and jam and see if we vibe.
Thanks for reading! Look forward to your response!
