Office Assistant – Part-Time (Carmichael, CA)

Felon’s Friend, LLC is a small, home-based mail-order business serving incarcerated clients. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented office assistant to help with order fulfillment and basic administrative tasks.

This is an entry-level position. No prior experience is required—we will train the right person. This role is best suited for someone looking for a low-key, flexible position rather than a long-term career path or a high-pressure environment.

Job duties include:

• Packing and processing mail orders
• Basic recordkeeping and data entry
• Using Microsoft Word, Excel, Windows, and the internet to manage orders
• Assisting with other routine tasks as needed (training provided)

Requirements:

• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, internet use)
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliability and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Comfortable working independently in a home office setting

Position details:

• Hours: 5–10 hours per week to start, with potential for additional hours
• Schedule: Very flexible; days and times can be arranged
• Pay: $18–$20 per hour (1099 independent contractor)
• Location: On-site in Carmichael, CA
