We are a busy construction company seeking a highly organized Office Construction Assistant with strong administrative skills and a solid understanding of construction operations. This role supports project management, field teams, and office operations, and requires someone who can handle multiple responsibilities with accuracy and professionalism.
Minimum Requirements
5+ years of office/administrative experience
3–5 years of construction industry experience (required)
Strong knowledge of blueprint reading
Experience with collections, order placement, and job cost tracking
Proficiency with email, spreadsheets, and basic project documentation
Ability to communicate clearly with subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and clients
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage shifting priorities
Responsibilities
Assist with daily office operations and project coordination
Review and interpret blueprints to support estimating and project planning
Handle collections, invoicing follow‑up, and payment tracking
Place material orders and coordinate deliveries with suppliers
Maintain job cost logs and assist with budget tracking
Prepare project documents, reports, and correspondence
Support project managers with scheduling, permitting, and compliance documentation
Provide general administrative support as needed
