"This hood is a better choice for the Voigtlander 50 mm f/1.2 lens than the LH-10 hood that is specified for it, because it is more compact, still does the job perfectly and blocks very little in an optical viewfinder. Its construction is high quality metal and It attaches with a bayonet action requiring only a slight clockwise twist, ending with a locking click. To facilitate insertion, there is a small black dot on the top of the stainless end of the lens and a white dot on the hood. Align the two before twisting. Removal requires gentle pushing in to unlock the hood then a slight twist in the opposite direction. It slips over a protective filter and the standard pinch lens cap. As someone else has mentioned, the Voiglander lenses are of such high quality that they deserve an equally well designed and constructed lens hood. l'm really happy and feel that all the details mentioned above justify the price.”
This item is essentially new and has never been used. It comes in the box and the little plastic bag it is wrapped in. If you were to buy this new on the B & H website it would cost you $109.
