1966 Nova 327 CID short block built to L79 specs except slightly lower compression. Keith Black pistons, SCAT connecting rods, Comp cams and much more ($2950).
For more money I can sell with the correct L79 2.02 heads with roller rockers, push rods, etc. No intake or distributor. However, I also have for sale a correct Type 2 L79 distributor just rebuilt by Advance distributors in Minnestoa ($600 for the distributor).
This Nova short block stated life as a 283 bored out to a 4" bore with a new GM 327 forged crank and SCAT rods. Short block built by Bob Fordyce Racing, a 50-year veteran of NHRA drag racing building Super Stock engines.
