Loan Partner (Auburn)

compensation: Salary DOE
employment type: full-time

Job Description

We are looking for a salary based Loan Partner to work in our highly successful mortgage office. You must be a Licensed Loan Officer in the state of California and have 1-2 years minimum experience in the mortgage industry. **DO NOT apply if you don't have these qualifications. This position is full time.

A mortgage license is required for this position.

The ideal candidate may currently/formerly be a loan officer and loves working the loan but doesn't like to "go get new business'' or a processor/ underwriter who likes talking with clients. Maybe you just want to know you will get paid every week.

This candidate absolutely must know how to structure and sell the loan with a high closing percentage of leads, pull & analyze credit, review income & asset documents, have a general knowledge of Fannie Mae, FHA, VA guidelines, run DU/LP, stack & submit files, request & clear conditions and communicate incredibly with both borrowers and Realtors. We will take care of bringing in the business - you take care of getting the clients on board and closing the loans. The Loan Partner position will be teamed up with a Loan Processor who will work with underwriting to get the loan final approved.

We are looking for a genuine team player who is excellent in communicating professionally with clients and is stellar with following through on tasks and assignments. You should be able to learn new skills needed to adapt to the ever changing mortgage industry, while being self-motivated to figure things out along the way. Only apply if you want to be part of a fast-growing team who really cares about their clients and fellow teammates. We are an intimate environment and not a large corporation. Above all, we look for integrity in a new hire — high-integrity individuals make the best teammates, and with such a small office, trust and respect are a must.
