We’re seeking an energetic and motivated Leasing Professional to join the team at Element Student Living, a 792-bed student housing community in Sacramento, CA. This position plays a vital role in achieving our occupancy and resident satisfaction goals. The ideal candidate is a people person who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, and takes pride in delivering excellent service.

🔑 Key Responsibilities
Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours of the community, and showcase available apartments.
Process lease applications, including credit and background screening, and prepare move-in packages.
Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure apartments are move-in ready.
Execute marketing and outreach strategies to generate leads — including social media, email, resident referrals, and local partnerships.
Stay informed about competing properties and market conditions to help guide pricing and leasing strategies.
Maintain accurate records of leads, traffic, and leasing activity in property management software such as Yardi or OneSite.
Ensure all model units, amenities, and common areas are well-maintained and visually appealing for tours.
Follow up with prospects and new residents to ensure a positive move-in experience.
Support resident retention and renewal efforts by preparing lease renewal packages and meeting with current residents.
Handle resident inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally to ensure resident satisfaction.
Participate in resident events, weekend tours, and community engagement activities.
🧩 What We’re Looking For
Previous leasing or multifamily housing experience required.
Student housing experience preferred, but not required.
Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency with Yardi property management software.
Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
