I've been a general automotive technician for over twenty years. I started my automotive education in high school and continued it at American River College. I have worked at 2 mom and pop full service shops and 2 nationwide, well known full service shops. I've been self employed in the past for over ten years. I own all of my own tools, including a wide variety of manufacturer specific and or specialty tools. I'm not sure if I want a full-time gig yet. I would talk with any business or shop interested. I would be interested in working cash under-the-table and or part time if available. In the past I have been a shop foremen and I work well with others. I am punctual and my work is professional. I don't throw fits and I don't throw tools. If a gig work or part-time under-the-table deal works well. I very likely would be interested in joining a team or shop full time. Depending on the work I may be interested in flat rate or hourly. My wage is open for discussion and negotiation upon an interview. I'm not desperate and I'm looking for a good fit. I have always told my customers in the past. It has to be a good deal for them and it has to be a good deal for me in order for us to do business, and I'm approaching this with the same ideology.
